About Babatunde

Babatunde regards himself as a student of Life.

He is also a serial entrepreneur, a chain publisher and a public public-spirited person with a number of public-serving projects to his name.

He is a teacher of fundamental principles with unique insights on life and living drawn from the Scripture, Nature and torture. His coaching specialty includes purpose, productivity and performance. He hosts a monthly life-sharing session on Zoom, ThriVe! with Babs, where he shares his learnings and gleanings with an audience from different walks of life.

Notable among his entrepreneurial offshoots are the award-winning duo of The Ready Writers Consult, the oldest writing and editorial firm in sub-Saharan Africa, and TRW Consult, an integrated communications agency offering digital, impact, and marketing services with operations in the United States and the United Kingdom. He is also the publisher of popular online titles including the Daily Dew Quartet (Devotional, Inspirational, Series and Testimonies). His other titles include Agric News, Feminine Digest, Masculine Digest, NewsBreakers, Stati News, Techie Digest, Travel Digest, and a host of others.

Babatunde is the promoter and executive director of Literary Renaissance Foundation, a nonprofit that has been at the frontline of advocating for mass literacy, access to quality education in Nigeria as well as promoting a vibrant reading culture in the nation since 2016.

His other public projects include a quarterly public deliberative dialogue, TRW Internship Program and Naijaspora.

Professional Experience

Education & Training

Babatunde obtained his first degree in English Literature at the University of Ibadan. Some years later, he enrolled for a master’s degree in Communication & Language Arts (CLA) at the same institution. In 2024, he completed another master’s degree in Public Service (MPS) at the Clinton School of Public Service, where he graduated with a distinction, while also bagging an additional professional certificate in Communications for Social Change in its wake.

He is also an Alumnus of Lagos Business School; Enterprise Development Centre and the School of Media and Communications where he has undergone executive and professional education in Owner-Manager Program (LBS), Agribusiness Management Program (LBS), Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management (EDC), as well as Advanced Writing & Reporting Skills (SMC).

His insatiable quest for self-development has also taken him to Strathmore Business School (SBS), Kenya and an Executive Study Tour in Chicago, Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin, where he participated at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Emerging Markets module organized by the University of Wisconsin, Platteville.

Awards

Babatunde is a recipient of multiple awards and recognitions during and after his university days; notable among which was the Outstanding Enterprise Award he was conferred by IBM at a ceremony marking its 100th Anniversary in Lagos, Nigeria.

After some hands-on jobs before, during and after his first university degree, Babatunde worked as Personal Assistant/Research Personnel to the Founder/CEO of The Chair Centre Group between 2004 and 2010. In that posting, he distinguished himself as an invaluable resource, whilst also doubling as the Production Manager of a weekly telecast (Business His Way) anchored by his principal.

Nicknamed Mr. Productivity by those close to him because of his no-nonsense disposition to anything that hinders performance and productivity, little wonder that since he left his salary employment in 2010, his entrepreneurial voyage has resulted in the start of 3 public service projects, 6 business ventures, and 20 digital titles.

Babatunde is the promoter and executive director of Literary Renaissance Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for mass literacy, access to quality education and a vibrant reading culture among the youth. He also holds a monthly life enhancement session, ThriVe! where he freely shares principles of life and living with participants.

He is happily married with children.
